Experience Sampling
Experience Sampling or Ecological Momentary Assessment (EMA) involves repeated sampling of subject's current behaviors and experiences in real time, in subject's natural environments. Assess subjects at periodic intervals, via fixed, random or mixed time sampling.
Ecological Momentary Intervention (EMI)
EMIs are treatments that are provided to people during their everyday lives (i.e. in real time) and in natural settings (i.e. real world). Deliver ambulatory treatment for smoking cessation, weight loss, anxiety, diabetes management, eating disorders, alcohol use, substance use and healthy eating and physical activity.
Mobile Randomized Control Trial
